Joyful access isn’t something we just sell. We live it.

Hi everyone! I’m Lainey and my beautiful soon-to-be wife and business partner is Talia. We’re queer women living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and everything we do revolves around access in some way, shape, or form.

In my daily grind, I write robotics and computer science curriculum and help teachers feel supported and encouraged to integrate these technology tools in their learning environment. Because anyone can do and teach STEM! Talia’s days are filled with helping people have equal access as a Nationally Certified American Sign Language Interpreter. Her focus is on medical interpreting to ensure Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients get clear, accurate communication with their medical providers.

As two neurodivergent parents of two neurodivergent children, we understand how hard it is sometimes to find the supports you need to make it through the day. And oftentimes those supports are boringggg. Talia is an ambulatory wheelchair user with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), so she personally tests every design to ensure it is usable from the perspective of a hypermobile wheelchair user.

Are we solving major issues with these designs and makes? No. And that’s okay! We want to bring JOY to your everyday tools. Gone are the days of one-size-fits all accessibility accessories. Let’s make something together that helps you have fun with your accessibility aids.
