The goalpost handle replaces your standard joystick knob with a wide U-shaped bar you can drive with the back of your hand, a knuckle, a wrist, or a loosely hooked finger — no pinching, no gripping, no sustained hand strength required.
Built for anyone whose hands don't do the fine-motor thing on command: limited dexterity, tremor, weakness, contracture, pain, or a grip that's fine some days and not others.

This is an aftermarket accessory, not a replacement for equipment fitted by your seating clinic or OT. If you're unsure whether a different handle style would help, ask them — they can usually let you try one.
